Woo hoo!! Although it might turn out to be more of a pensive harvest.

Hey Paul (if that's your real name). I'm in Sunnyside here so we're neighbors!!

Love Embryo

djnogoodnick:

I'm not surprised, you have great taste!! How long do you suppose I can keep up this mishmash of vaguely mystic jazz-rock? Another hour, I hope?
Avatar 8:12pm
LadyChanticleer:

I mean, you're asking the wrong girl! In my heart, I am 24/7 Ren Faire. Gentle Giant is another favorite.
Avatar 8:16pm
djnogoodnick:

Me too!! But it's much easier coming up with music for a different theme every week. I don't know how you come up with 3 hours of "just" ritual music!!
Avatar 8:20pm
LadyChanticleer:

ADHD! I cannot focus on a theme if my life depended on it.
Avatar 8:24pm
djnogoodnick:

Ahh, I'm too hyper focused on themes.. like this track isn't exactly right, only kinda right. Also for some reason always need to compile at least a 3-hour playlist in order to get 2 hours of music that works together well.
Avatar 8:24pm
djnogoodnick:

Anyway, that's why I'm not filling in as much as you!!

Firebottle:

I'm becoming convinced this is one of the best shows on WFMU... thanks for all the great music djnogoodnick!
Avatar 8:30pm
LadyChanticleer:

Oh yeah, I feel that. I'll compile like, 6 hours of music and edit.

Hey Nick, just chiming in to say I'm digging the show.

djnogoodnick:

Thanks so much for the praise!! I had a high bar here on FMU for a new show, surely..
Avatar 8:37pm
djnogoodnick:

@lady C I swear I will play every track on a 3-hour playlist and not have two hours.. the laws of time and space do not apply..
Avatar 8:38pm
LadyChanticleer:

I hear that!
Avatar 8:50pm
LadyChanticleer:

Is it for Buffy Saint Marie?
Avatar 8:52pm
djnogoodnick:

Oh, good guess!! I never thought about it but it makes sense.
Avatar 8:52pm
djnogoodnick:

On the other hand he keeps calling Native Americans "simple-minded" which always bothers me a little..
Avatar 8:58pm
LadyChanticleer:

He's got some lines that suck, let's just say it.
Avatar 9:00pm
djnogoodnick:

yeah, the whole "left wing / right wing" is the same thing is old too
Avatar 9:03pm
djnogoodnick:

Goodnight and thanks, all!!

Thank you!!
