Took MetroNorth to Manitou = over the Bear Mountain Bridge/Bear Mountain to the Harriman NJ Transit stop looking to get to HOBO. Some glitch so no trains in the cold dark... Only option was a bus from THE WOODBURY MALL !!!I had to hitch there and then wait at THE WOODBURY MALL ????? on a 2-3 hour line of SHOPPERS to get a bus to 42nd St PA!!! I thought the Greek gods were punishing me (think Sisyphus or Tantalus) for all of my long ago bad deeds !!!!

Sonny Melendrez was the star DJ on local radio giant, KINT. He and the other jocks played the heck out of that song. We didn't hear the horn signals that school was cancelled. Back then the fire department had a system of horn signals to let the volunteer firemen know where fires were happening and to alert the rest of us when school was delayed or cancelled on account of weather. I liked the Gulliver's Travels animation. My older brother told me about the Fleischer advanced animation technology used. We were film geeks.

Brooklyn Steel is not a great venue for more vertically challenged people, so K8 was a little frustrated with the sightlines. But the sound was good! We did cook and eat yesterday. I made a baked ziti, which was excellent. I've been cutting down on cheese lately, but I'm taking advantage of the carnivalesqe this week to indulge. Oh, it was good. And there's still some left! Did you get some peace and plenty yesterday? Hope so!

Took MetroNorth to Manitou = over the Bear Mountain Bridge/Bear Mountain to the Harriman NJ Transit stop looking to get to HOBO. Some glitch so no trains in the cold dark... Only option was a bus from THE WOODBURY MALL !!!I had to hitch there and then wait at THE WOODBURY MALL ????? on a 2-3 hour line of SHOPPERS to get a bus to 42nd St PA!!! I thought the Greek gods were punishing me (think Sisyphus or Tantalus) for all of my long ago bad deeds !!!!

We didn't hear the horn signals that school was cancelled. Back then the fire department had a system of horn signals to let the volunteer firemen know where fires were happening and to alert the rest of us when school was delayed or cancelled on account of weather. I liked the Gulliver's Travels animation. My older brother told me about the Fleischer advanced animation technology used. We were film geeks.

Brooklyn Steel is not a great venue for more vertically challenged people, so K8 was a little frustrated with the sightlines. But the sound was good! We did cook and eat yesterday. I made a baked ziti, which was excellent. I've been cutting down on cheese lately, but I'm taking advantage of the carnivalesqe this week to indulge. Oh, it was good. And there's still some left! Did you get some peace and plenty yesterday? Hope so!
