This recording is mixed in such a way that it attempts to recreate the experience of hearing the pieces live as Lucier intended. The sine wave and musician begin at opposite ends of the stage and criss cross over the course of the four pieces, ending with the performer and sine wave having traded locations from left to right (and vice versa).
Recommended listening: speakers, no headphones"

Sitting low on a stool and stretching my lower back helps sometimes, Jeff.

'bout to multitask, listening to d:O while I pedal and watch stage 6 of 2021 Paris-Nice. I'm behaving so healthy that it makes me sick. (humblebrag)

Happy Birthday StringOFperils! I hope you’re enjoying a bagel and a coffee :)

I forget where I caught the recommendation, but Lucier's book, "Music 109: Notes on Experimental Music" is supposed to be a real good 'un.
