Gin was mother's milk to her.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12/12 2:23pm
PigeonsAndRust:

Gosh that sounds almost as cheerful as the typical Dalhart disaster song! At least only mother is dead
Avatar 12/12 9:47pm
Lolabelle Pancake:

It's so nice to meet early birds on the comments forum. I generally spend Wednesday to Monday (metaphorically) sweeping up the place, straightening the furniture, wiping up spills and stains, and airing out the poutin' shanty. As you can imagine, by the time Courtney finishes his Tuesday program, the premises reflect the aftermath of a ruckus at best, a battle royal at worst. I take my responsibilities seriously.

Presumably, Little Effie Parkhurst never married.
Avatar 10:53am

So much of what I hear on this station reminds me of large stones being thrown into a dump-cart.

I recall the industry came out with a better sounding term for gamma-irradiated foods some years ago. Something like, "treated with radiant energy".
