I have like 21 vacation days banked right now and will have to get below 22 by June 30, I think. Which, yes, but I'll have like 12 more by then.
Good point, βrian. I have eaten nothing yet. Must do something.

Hi Handy, sadly I used up my vacation days when I was moving over the summer. I have about 14 hours of vacation time.

I've got myself a drink to unwind from a busy day closing down my office. Stuff moved into storage, furniture given way, computers decommissioned and twenty boxes of confidential papers taken away to be shredded. Now the business is officially based in my bedroom. Here's to semi-retirement everyone. Cheers!

i'd like to make some kind of better peace, but he's stopped communicating with me completely (and done some aggro things that make it really hard to stomach it all)... decades of friendship, tossed aside. (imho for pride)
he's got plenty of friends though.

Really difficult to deal with aging parents when they are losing some cognitive function slowly, and don't believe they are (the story of my late mom). In that case, her fall and hip fracture was also a blessing in a way, as she had to stop driving, and we were able to keep her from starting again when she had healed.
Thanks, Mary! (gotta run, dental torture time)
