After seeing the film, we were still confused though we both found the film dynamic and engrossing. She now has her own wing at the Mass MOCA museum where the film plays all day.

They seemed to have nothing to do with what she was talking about. We were confused. About five minutes in she turns her head and sees what's going on behind her. She shakes her head and laughs and says to us "Why didn't you tell me??!!" We just though it was Laurie Anderson being Laurie Anderson.

Bro, his hubs, and unvaxxed 3 year old arrived yesterday from AUSTRALIA. Was supposed to go in to see Mom Friday night and help her set up. Spent Saturday standing in line, outside, for 3.5 hours waiting for a fast COVID test. Came back negative along with flu test so went out yesterday, home at a semi reasonable hour but was too wound up to go to sleep at a reasonable time. Reset alarm clock 2x instead of actually just giving myself an extra 90 minutes of sleep. So, day 2 without a shower, need to throw on clothes and make coffee. Already working since 10 AM. One of the benefits from WFH. On top of it, dealing with family drama from a step-parent who refuses to acknowledge that this trip from bro is NOT about fucking sugarplum fairies and Xmas cheer; it's about the fact that Mom is on her way out and my brother wants my nephew to see her one last time. For various reasons I am in no financial position to tell this person to shove their Yule log up their butt. I'm starting every day with almost zero spoons....sorry to rant but gotta tell someone, somewhere safe where it probably won't be found by my usual social media hounds...

Bro, his hubs, and unvaxxed 3 year old arrived yesterday from AUSTRALIA. Was supposed to go in to see Mom Friday night and help her set up. Spent Saturday standing in line, outside, for 3.5 hours waiting for a fast COVID test. Came back negative along with flu test so went out yesterday, home at a semi reasonable hour but was too wound up to go to sleep at a reasonable time. Reset alarm clock 2x instead of actually just giving myself an extra 90 minutes of sleep. So, day 2 without a shower, need to throw on clothes and make coffee. Already working since 10 AM. One of the benefits from WFH. On top of it, dealing with family drama from a step-parent who refuses to acknowledge that this trip from bro is NOT about fucking sugarplum fairies and Xmas cheer; it's about the fact that Mom is on her way out and my brother wants my nephew to see her one last time. For various reasons I am in no financial position to tell this person to shove their Yule log up their butt. I'm starting every day with almost zero spoons....sorry to rant but gotta tell someone, somewhere safe where it probably won't be found by my usual social media hounds...
