He visited the MTV Building (where Nickelodeon was, in Times Square) and Kurt Loder interviewed him in our building’s cafeteria, called The Lodge. He opened up the room for questions and I asked him who were his early influences but I think he must’ve misunderstood my question because he became a little defensive and responded that he sounded like nobody, he sounded like himself. It left me slightly bummed that it wasn’t more of a pleasant exchange but I’m glad I got the opportunity to speak with him.

At that time he had a young lady in his band nicknamed "The Duchess." She was featured in all his publicity photos along with the iconic Bo Diddley rectangular guitar.

The Earth is in fact hurling away from the Sun, it's a misnomer that the belief it's winter because Earth is at it's furthest point from the Sun. That's only true if you live in the lower half of the Earth's southern hemisphere. What makes it winter for the northern half of the Earth's hemisphere is the tilt of the planet away from the Sun, not the farthest distance away from the sun. But I'm sure that the majority of you already knew that.

He visited the MTV Building (where Nickelodeon was, in Times Square) and Kurt Loder interviewed him in our building’s cafeteria, called The Lodge. He opened up the room for questions and I asked him who were his early influences but I think he must’ve misunderstood my question because he became a little defensive and responded that he sounded like nobody, he sounded like himself. It left me slightly bummed that it wasn’t more of a pleasant exchange but I’m glad I got the opportunity to speak with him.

The Earth is in fact hurling away from the Sun, it's a misnomer that the belief it's winter because Earth is at it's furthest point from the Sun. That's only true if you live in the lower half of the Earth's southern hemisphere. What makes it winter for the northern half of the Earth's hemisphere is the tilt of the planet away from the Sun, not the farthest distance away from the sun. But I'm sure that the majority of you already knew that.
