Scott, and random coincidence (?), i was reading the back of a that petrol emotion album yesterday -about england's "prevention of terrorism act" which has allowed them to detain for up to 7 days around 5500 people that were ultimately never convicted of anything.

Some very "1984"-ish policies in Britain back then, @Coel. The BBC had a policy about not allowing "terrorists" to speak on the air, so they'd have Gerry Adams interviewed, but dub over his voice using an actor (Stephen Rea, as it turns out).
