Hi Dennis...One of my current projects is to digitize all of my father-in-law's 8mm films. One was of the 1964 Macy's parade where my sister-in-law Jane
was with him right in front on Times Square. There was footage of Steve Lawrence going by on a float. And even more exciting, Soupy Sales came over and posed with Jane and her friends. That's like meeting the Beatles, or at least the Monkees.

Mom Whig, I've got my work cut out for me, working my way through my father-in-law's photo and film archives on top of my own massive photo and film archives. So much stuff that will just disappear if I don't do something. NYC and elsewhere in the 50s and 60s from him. Concert pics and videos from me. (Including lots of the SMITHEREENS!)

"Just A Notion" was originally recorded in 1978 and sat unreleased. They did mess around with it a bit in terms of adding some vocals and parts for last year's release.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:07pm
Mike Sin:

Love that Sam Cooke "Live at the Harlem Square Club" album! It just seems that every time it's been issued, there is something different about it. I only have the original LP, but a CD version has different edits and a bit more high-end clarity. And then the cuts on the box set are a bit different.
Avatar 3:09pm
Todd-o-phonic Todd:

Rob Santos is the unsung hero behind the "Harlem Square" album in my estimation.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:10pm
