Okay so my first question is I know in previous comments you have said that there would be enough material for there to be a super deluxe edition of the Monkees third album Headquarters. But is there enough material for a Super Deluxe edition of Pieces, Aquarius, Capricorn and Jones?

Avatar 6:16pm
WLSClark:

Andrew, does the Coconut Groove 45 of Cherry Slush sound more clear and clean than the USA 45? It just seems to to me.
Avatar 6:16pm
marpay:

LOL you're havin' a 34° heatwave!
Avatar 6:16pm

Yes, Gaylord - but did you bring a turntable?
Avatar 6:17pm

  6:19pm

Thats alright Andrew! My second question is, is there a plan to officially release Mike Nesmith's earlier work as a musician? For example, stuff he did with the Mike and John and Bill band or the Mike and Tony band?
Avatar 6:19pm
Natalie:

It's always good to workshop a concept.

uptown jen:

Multitasking right now, so just popping in quickly to say hello to everyone and to say thanks for another great show, Andrew!
Avatar 6:20pm
cometothesunshine:

Eli - that would be up to his estate and I think they are busy with mourning their dad, so I would give it some time/space
Avatar 6:21pm
cometothesunshine:

Jack Bedient, who knew?
Avatar 6:21pm
marpay:

HI uptown jen!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:21pm
Gaylord Fields:

@Mom Whig: I wouldn't do something like that every day, but I will keep doing fun outdoor activities until I can't.

@WLSClark: The rain washed all the snow away overnight where I live, but an hour's drive into the mountains provided all the snow and one inner tube I needed.

Avatar 6:22pm

@Eli Miller - One of the things on my wish list is a follow-up to 'Dolenz Sings Nesmith' titled 'Everyone Sings Nesmith' with various artists covering Nez songs. All his musical fans--i.e. Susanna Hoffs, Andy Partridge, Peter Buck, etc.
Avatar 6:22pm

Andrew, I never doubt the versatility of Jack Bedient and his helium-filled lungs.
Avatar 6:23pm

Good question, Johnyoung - I have a VPI cleaner, but the Izotope declicking is what does the hard work on these 45s. It makes everything much more listenable.

So, Andrew I don't know if you know this or not. But back in 1969 Peter Tork had a band with his then girlfriend Reine Stewart called the Peter Tork And/Or Release and he said that they have recorded a couple of demos together back in the day. So, my question is do they still exist, and if so will they ever come out someday?
