@John eye. I saw The Ramones at My Father’s Place also. It was a re-scheduled show—WLIR had sponsored a show at Long Beach which got rained out, and it rescheduled for MFP. I think it was either ‘81 or ‘82. Dee Dee gave me his guitar pic. I was smushed up against the stage. A week or two later I ran into him in Sounds on 8th Street.

@FrankInQueens -- the whole "public access" sitch in '70s NYC confounds me... How were folks getting it at that time? My fam was was already out in the suburbs and we weren't wired up for cable until 1976. My relatives in the Bronx didn't have their streets dug up and obliterated for it until about 1978! UHF stations or something?
