Rachel was only 37 :-(
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:27pm
Matt Fiveash:

Shiloh, that can't be- that would mean she was 14 when I first saw the Cobras... not that that makes it any less sad!

Stumble is fantastic...........if you ever want to hear it at max speed check out Dave Edmunds version
  7:33pm
shiloh afterburner:

Matt, she was born in '84. If you saw her when she was 14, I wonder how long she'd been performing up to that point. Crazy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:36pm
Matt Fiveash:

No way was she born in 84. Where are you getting this?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:38pm
G:

Many news articles say 37. I'm figuring like not a few entertainers, she or her management cut off some years. Maybe 10 or more.

Great title tune Matt !! Even the NY Wall St's finest face moments where they "Can't Afford To Do It" ....................wonder if this tune comes to mind at that time
Avatar 👻 Swag For Life Member 7:41pm

I heard someone else saying she was 47 or 48?
  7:42pm

I think you're correct. Sounds not right and like a hoax that went hella viral. It's everywhere.

If Rachel was born in '84 she would've been 10 when she formed The Cobras . This from an obit in Rolling Stone: "Formed in Detroit in 1994, the Detroit Cobras gained popularity within the city’s music scene and abroad for their garage rock covers of Sixties songs;"
  7:44pm
shiloh afterburner:

Anyway, great show! and RIP Rachel

The Corrina song...confusing as to the origins.....of course there's Dylans's version but he is the master thief. Many artists have covered.............no idea where Milton Brown stands but seems pretty high !!
Avatar 👻 Swag For Life Member 7:48pm
Will the Sound Guy:

in a few places they say that her birthday was 15 December 1984

Mr. Fine Wine:

Re Corinna: Check out Ovid's Amores from the first century B.C. for the first songs to Corinna. (And SHE had a bird that's the subject of one of the poems.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:15pm
Mr. Fine Wine:

Rachel was a full-grown adult by the time the Cobras first got together in '93-94, I can unequivocally state.
