	♥ 12:11pm Handy Haversack: Woo, you should change it up ASAP. Dog food has a lot more carbs than cat food because dogs are omnivores. Cats are hyper-carnivores and should have a lot more pure protein in their diet. Carbs can actually be really bad for them over time.

Definitely a minimally processed lean protein diet, but it should be well-rounded like us peoples. This is what I feed the princess (they also have a regular and senior formula): www.chewy.com...

	♥ 12:20pm minkwest: I've heard the same @HyperDose. My vet has been saying this about 'boutique' diets despite that they now occupy the bulk of the shelves at my pet food place. My vet recommends the big companies that do published research like Hills, Science Diet, Royal Canin etc. even though reading the ingredients, you'd be sceptical.

My vet recommends the big companies that do published research like Hills, Science Diet, Royal Canin etc. even though reading the ingredients, you'd be sceptical.
