OK, figured it was KotSW but I am reminded that I need to get around to watching Moon Over Parador.

Kiss of the Spider Woman is very special in my memory. Saw it when it first came out during my one trip as tourist to NYC summer of 1985. During the same trip I saw Raul Julia in Shaw's "Arms and the Man" at the Circle Theater from a great seat I scored same day.

Greetings from LA is a great album. Different than others but for me just as good as anything he did. I loved Blue Afternoon and Star Sailor. Speaking of someone who's possessed: saw Buckley on his Star Sailor tour. Pure and raw intensity.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:34pm
Franco Twinkie:

Blue Afternoon is hands down my favorite.

StringOFperils:

The last time I saw M.C. Hammer, he was in a TV ad for these little self-adhesive cup-hook things, that didn't need screws and nails or 'hammers', as in Hammer don't hurt my plaster walls. A woman's putting up Christmas decorations on her fireplace mantle, and MC Hammer pops in, upside down out of the fireplace flue, to tell her 'can't touch this' etc. That's how cool MC Hammer is.

Well, Hammer had great abs, and really nice drape pants, and the formatting/choreography/merchandising was great, like Vanilla Ice great. Had about as much integrity as most well-known big-sellers.
Avatar 5:00pm

LOL, the pants. I love 'em.
