@phat: Courtney did an excellent show! She represented your city well.

I haven't paid much attention to the NFL in years. I grew up a Rams fan, though. Probably not going to watch the game, which means it'll probably be the greatest Super Bowl of all time.
@luka: I admit it was harder to do my show on certain Sundays when the Giants were a team worth caring about. Giants fans' loss is my radio show's gain.
Gaylord, this such calming and fitting music after a weird sad week. But it occurred to me your show could mark the beginning of a new week, not the conclusion of a week past, which is even better. So thanks for that!
Hey Gaylord. GOING to sleep here in Merry Olde. But this Feb is the 40th anniversary of the release of Pelican West. Maybe week of 25th you can dig out some HC 100 to celebrate.
Love this Glenn Branca track. He had an ear for incorporating new styles(the intro sounded so much like Gang Of Four) into his modern classical compositions. I always dig quality drone music too! Awesome show 👍

Hi. What were the two songs you played around 6:20? There was one that used an Abba sample (I think you said that) and one just before that sounded like it used a sample of Suicide. Thanks.
@Jesse: It isn't clickable right now. and I can't suss that question out right now, but if you write to me after the show, I can try to sort it for you.
All I Do Is Think About You is one of the best songs ever!
Fugu: ? Sometimes one chord is enough. I think that was the one-chord thing I heard. I'm busy coooking.

I guess it's nothing to do with "pharyngial" or "phreakers"
First half of the show had Stevie Wonder producing a track covering the Beatles, song wonderfully by Syreeta .Second half of the show had Tammi Terrell sing a Stevie Wonder song in the 60's that I thought was written in 1980. Never heard either before. Incredible show.
Welcome, Steve S. from Sunset Park, and thanks for the good words!
