As an Astrology Enthusiast I developed the notion that only Holidays (Holy Days) that actually correlate to the Natural Cycles would endure in the very long term. For example - Labor Day when the Sun is in ♍︎Virgo makes perfect good sense. However - Valentine's as a Romantic observance (even Thee Romantic one) under the ⦿Sun in ♒︎Aquarius - the sign of Collective Humanism, OK - but also Rational Scientific Detachment & Individualism ...either cannot endure - or (/&?) must mutate gradually into something much more Collective ...probly in keeping with the canonical legend of the Saint himself ?? Even tho' it is a time of eminent Springtime & increasing daylight (Northern Hemisphere) ...the sign I'd choose to observe Romance would be ♎︎Libra - first sign of technical Autumn starting ~Sept. 21st ...the sign of Partnerships. Ironically - also an Air element sign of Abstract Thot, as is ♒︎Aquarius... Or, possibly, the sign following ♎︎Libra - ♏︎Scorpio, the Water element sign of Sexuality & Passioate Emotions...
Eisenhower - a President who was an actual General - & the last to warn us earnestly of Capitalist Militarism - was a ⦿Sun in ♎︎Libra - whom @ least believed in Diplomacy over outright Violence - be it by means of the Cold War (actually only 'Cold' in the actual USA & USSR - & pretty gawdammed Hot everywhere else in the World amidst all their Proxies...) - & maintained a precarious Balance of Power not lesast thru his personality...

' Timothy Charles Buckley III (February 14, 1947 – June 29, 1975) was an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer. His music and style changed considerably through the years. Buckley began his career based in folk music, but his subsequent albums experimented with jazz, psychedelia, funk, soul, the avant-garde, and an evolving voice-as-instrument sound. It seems that if I had known that there was a white mouse in a bowl in the sink, then I would not have dumped a pot of boiling water into there.
However, the mouse survived. After reaching a forefoot paw above the water line, smearing blood on the side of the bowl, it somehow made it's way out into the hallway floor, albeit shrunken. It was then that a small parade of children came marching though, crushing and squishing the poor shrunken white mouse under their feet. Again, accidentally.
