it's easy to forget... like, ramones' rocket to russia, or led zeppelin III, or bow wow wow or Alan Vega... hearing them only via spotify or a cd for years...they've all been remastered by people with their own shitty take on sound -having been perverted by mp3s and tiny devices, and "modern" production.
so - crisp, thin drums; weak bass; vox up too much in the mix; every nuance right in your face... sounds like shit. the records jump up and take over the room!
