Love Petticoat Junction. First started watching it because I love trains but was very happy to find I also really enjoy the show. I also love how the engine is the legendary movie star locomotive Sierra Railway No. 3, built by Rogers Locomotive and Machine Works right here in Paterson, N.J.! Built in like the 1890s. Still survives today, though with a recently replaced boiler. She's been in over 200 films and shows, I believe.

I love how Petticoat Junction has, at times, accurately described the locomotive, even sometimes referring to it as a Rogers. I also recall at least one time that someone asked if it was a Baldwin. Baldwin Locomotive Works was a major engine manufacturer in Philadelphia.

Anyway, back to enjoying the tunes!
