	♥ 3:20pm HyperDose: I will preface this by saying I have the utmost respect for the deep fried foods community, being an ally of french fries and mozzarella sticks. Fried ravioli however...not for me. I'm a sauce guy and thoroughly enjoy the relationship it has with the starch and dairy components of the ravioli structure. A crispety crunchety™ outer coating is always appreciated. But in this context, didn't really feel a noticeable improvement to the dish. If anything, it became an additional obtrusive layer further separating me from the real prize, herbed cheese!

The waiter, in a weirdly officious though I guess having-seen-it-before but still kind of way was all, "Sir, there is a RAW duck egg on the dish. We will NOT take it back if you don't like the egg." I had to be all, "Stand back! I'm a scientist!"

I'm not proud of knowing this—though I _am_ proud of not having seen the women/food videos or anything else on Instagram—but I thought it needed to be put plainly. Note: women in Japanese television cooking shows very often will make this _insanely_ exaggerated 'Mmm-HHHMMMM' lasting about three seconds with a rising tone at the end, viz esp. Hayami Yu on "Dining with the Chef", available via NHK streams in the U.S., e.g. via a Roku device.

Fried ravioli however...not for me. I'm a sauce guy and thoroughly enjoy the relationship it has with the starch and dairy components of the ravioli structure. A crispety crunchety™ outer coating is always appreciated. But in this context, didn't really feel a noticeable improvement to the dish. If anything, it became an additional obtrusive layer further separating me from the real prize, herbed cheese!
