So it's a repeat today Andrew?
Avatar 6:02pm
WLSClark:

COOL! R.I.P. Mike Rabon. Great talent more than just the 5A.

As for Berkley Kites, I taped this off WLS and took me a decade to get it after I recorded it in 68. LOVE that song!

where am I? in the backseat baby!

Just an FYI, Michael Rabon was present for the original chat session on this show - which was when I was on Luxuriamusic

WLSClark:

This song blew me outta the water in 65 when KOMA jumped it to top 5 in about 2 weeks in OKC.
Avatar 7:05pm
WLSClark:

And Evol is my fave song by them.
Avatar 7:05pm

Avatar 7:19pm
cometothesunshine:

I'm enjoying it too! Sound Of Love is a big favorite.
Avatar 7:22pm
WLSClark:

Love the In Crowd's cover of this too
Avatar 7:23pm
cometothesunshine:

Love Big Cities!
Avatar 7:24pm
cometothesunshine:

Zip Code!
Avatar 7:27pm
WLSClark:

Couldn't believe it when a long version was on WCFL Winter old Lp in 1968!!
Avatar 7:29pm
cometothesunshine:

How much longer is it?
Avatar 7:30pm
WLSClark:

Not sure but has a longer organ solo in middle and I think tho different from Sundazed long version, all of those parts of the CFL version are in the longer Sundazed version.
Avatar 7:32pm
WLSClark:

Now Stop Light and the next two you play all had the SAME exact color photo on the pic sleeves! It was like Beatles 64 with the "Hold Your Hand" pic. Of the 3, I love "&;30" best because I think it is Left Banke/Beatle sounding.
Avatar 7:33pm
cometothesunshine:

This is my fave 5 Americans track!
Avatar 7:34pm
WLSClark:

I believe it!! SO great!
Avatar 7:37pm
cometothesunshine:

Love Rain Maker too
  7:38pm
Chattanooga Willy:

I liked the look of their translucent yellow and orange promos on Abnak.
Avatar 7:41pm
WLSClark:

Willy, indeed! Those were SOOO cool. I had a ton of them, but sold most last year. Two great Robon co-written are US Males' "Come out of the Rain" and Mike's 70s band Choctaw's "Let Your Light Shine On"--like country Badfinger!! SO COOL, both!
