	🥁 4:19pm fred: OK, too many shortcuts there. A Japanese composer had been living in Brittany for a while when the earthquake hit. He wrote a piece about it for a bagpipe player he had worked with and trusted. That guy wanted to play Glass' "Music in similar motion", but some parts were too low, so he got a custom baritone bombard made. Because the pandemic shut down everything with Japan, it happened. It's a weird good thing to come out of it.
