I need to take ONE DAY where all I do is play video games, chemically indulge, and not feel guilty about it.

They didn't give two fux if I didn't show up as long as I called in ahead, but I didn't get paid either--and you didn't get sick days unless you were lucky enough to be on a gig that lasted long enough for you to be guaranteed accrued time in NYS, which was pretty much NEVER.

I need to take ONE DAY where all I do is play video games, chemically indulge, and not feel guilty about it.

They didn't give two fux if I didn't show up as long as I called in ahead, but I didn't get paid either--and you didn't get sick days unless you were lucky enough to be on a gig that lasted long enough for you to be guaranteed accrued time in NYS, which was pretty much NEVER.
