And boy, was I surprised when I got to the Standard oil ones. Apart from their amazingly progressive attitude, the whole combination of actors and original songs was Quite a production. When I was making what turned out to be a kind of endless sound-collage project called “USA,“ I certainly used a big chunk of the Standard oil records.
