	♥ 3:36pm karlward: I think Columbia got the RCA Mark II room sized synthesizer up and running by 1958. Though they may not have had a proper academic program up and running until later.

Having lived in Champaign, IL for 12 years I learned that the U of I has a "we're a big school but we're not appreciated because we're in the sticks" inferiority complex.
