Thank for the reminder Solo. I will take some Certizine before I leave the house. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but smoking weed will aggravates your hay fever to a state of monumental suffering. I know this from personal experience. In a former life I was a carpenter. Working outside, the combination of sawdust and pollen would do me in. I was so medicated and devastated I could hardly fuck. Many times I couldn't stand and deliver. Plus, I was dripping snot like a broken faucet. One day a person with an extensive science back round pointed out to me that THC was pure pollen. After that, I would lay off smoking in Spring, and soon I was back to my tomcat ways.

The edible, or fat, dormouse was a delicacy in ancient Rome, where it appeared on the tables of the wealthy as a delicious dish and symbol of prosperity. Bigger than you might think, they’re about the size of grey squirrels, and apparently taste similar too, though their flavour has also been compared to rabbit and chicken....but then, they thought consuming lead, and staging crucifixions were good ideas, so go figure.

OED:

fake news n. originally U.S. news that conveys or incorporates false, fabricated, or deliberately misleading information, or that is characterized as or accused of doing so.
The term was widely popularized during and after the 2016 U.S. presidential election campaign, and since then has been used in two main ways: to refer to inaccurate stories circulated on social media and the internet, esp. ones which serve a particular political or ideological purpose; or to seek to discredit media reports regarded as partisan or untrustworthy.
Some earlier evidence may not represent a fixed collocation, although the practice of ‘faking’ news stories was much discussed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries (see fake v.2 7a).
1890 Milwaukee (Wisconsin) Daily Jrnl. 7 Feb. That mine story is one of the greatest pieces of fake news that has been sprung on the country for a long time.
1917 Railway & Marine News May 9/2 Fake news of the most dangerous character is already being published in the yellow journals.
2010 Sunday Times (Nexis) 6 June (Scotland ed.) 30 The [Chinese] government denounced the story as ‘fake news’ and punished four newspapers for reporting it.
2016 Postmedia Breaking News (Nexis) 4 Nov. The scourge of the U.S. election: Fake news, exploding on social media, is seeping into the mainstream... If cable-news channels such as Fox News and MSNBC revived an era of overtly partisan political coverage, producers of so-called fake news have taken the trend to a new and distorted level, largely dispensing with facts in their zeal to generate money-making clicks and/or promote one political side.
2016 @realDonaldTrump 10 Dec. in twitter.com (accessed 28 June 2019) Reports by @CNN that I will be working on The Apprentice during my Presidency, even part time, are ridiculous & untrue—FAKE NEWS!

If I recall, for the longest time newspapers in the US were not expected to be objective-there were different papers for differing points of view, you read the one you agreed with.
With radio and TV increasing the worry about manipulation of the news, a Fairness Doctrine was introduced, trying to get both sides presented. This was done away with under Reagan, leading to the current situation, right wing talk radio, Fox, internet skewed in one way or another.

I always see it as the Dead came not from a club residency nor aiming for any kind of Chart Hit like any normal band - but gestated in the Acid Tests - where they may well not even have been the focus of general proceedings. That in fact purshing their - & their audience's - particular (& not un-lysergic) Muse by being too tight or ambitious in most any way might even be considered too aggressive & somehow scaring it away... So far, no skip during "Mountain Jam." A major difference for me is with the star guitarists. Duane's playing is charismatic; it's hard not to like what he does. It isn't particularly tight or ambitious, but it has a pleasing character. Not so much Jerry, who noodles a lot and isn't by a stretch tight or ambitious. And yet in Jerry's guitar playing I hear commentary, as if he's discoursing musically on the goings-on. For me, this elevates Jerry to a rarefied level of musicianship. (Not saying he's "better" than Duane, whom I love.)
