I never knew what the occasion was, but I just followed behind them because it was so beautiful, and random.

It's a good thing. Howard: maybe? It's pretty kind-of organized. There are like 20 pipe bands. BUT: Tartan Day has only existed in the USA since I think 2006, when "Trent" the Hammer Lott forced the legislation through to commemorate the Declaration of Arbroath (I know, America, WTF). So ~15 years back, who knows! As daupomatic says!

Even the dog was enthused.

I never knew what the occasion was, but I just followed behind them because it was so beautiful, and random.

	♥ 1:02am Handy Haversack: One of the great things about my neighborhood is that NYC's finest experimental piper (that I know of ) lives here and practices under our bride and next to our creek. It's a good thing. Howard: maybe? It's pretty kind-of organized. There are like 20 pipe bands. BUT: Tartan Day has only existed in the USA since I think 2006, when "Trent" the Hammer Lott forced the legislation through to commemorate the Declaration of Arbroath (I know, America, WTF). So ~15 years back, who knows! As daupomatic says!

It's early enough that there are no bugs and we could leave the door open for wifi for WFMU. Cardinal, sparrows, blue jay, hairy woodpecker, starlings, mourning doves, robin. Not too shabby. Even the dog was enthused.
