There was also a metal site behind/acroos from Rembrandt's House where ya could build a bicycle - only needing tubes and tires and sometimes not even that ... NYC until about 10 years ago had Friday Bulk which was also a good Thursday night ...

	10:50am Rosey is Listening on 91.1 MHz: Definitely good to focus on reusing and reducing! Same idea with energy. Renewables are extremely important, but so is finding ways to reduce energy use. Been enjoying these educational songs. Reminds me of the "Zanzibar!" musical episode of Rocko's Modern Life. I also enjoyed how one of the recycling songs stopped to mention that the gas train reference would more appropriately be diesel. There actually were some gas and gas-turbine trains, but they're almost always diesel-electrics. Of course electric-electrics are better. Nice we have some in the Northeast! Very frustrating how few of our tracks are electrified, and how many of those track miles used to have electric and multiple tracks...

I absolutely despise useless front lawns with grass that "needs" constant mowing from destructive and obnoxious landscapers. Gonna be real fun trying to explain this stuff to future generations. "Sorry it's too hot to go outside again today and we're deep in a drought, son, but for one glorious moment in time, the suburbs were constantly filled with air and noise pollution that we voluntarily paid for so we could have front lawns that looked sanitized instead of natural and nice."

There was also a metal site behind/acroos from Rembrandt's House where ya could build a bicycle - only needing tubes and tires and sometimes not even that ... Been enjoying these educational songs. Reminds me of the "Zanzibar!" musical episode of Rocko's Modern Life. I also enjoyed how one of the recycling songs stopped to mention that the gas train reference would more appropriately be diesel. There actually were some gas and gas-turbine trains, but they're almost always diesel-electrics. Of course electric-electrics are better. Nice we have some in the Northeast! Very frustrating how few of our tracks are electrified, and how many of those track miles used to have electric and multiple tracks...

I absolutely despise useless front lawns with grass that "needs" constant mowing from destructive and obnoxious landscapers. Gonna be real fun trying to explain this stuff to future generations. "Sorry it's too hot to go outside again today and we're deep in a drought, son, but for one glorious moment in time, the suburbs were constantly filled with air and noise pollution that we voluntarily paid for so we could have front lawns that looked sanitized instead of natural and nice."
