	♥ 2:41pm Bryant in TO: I used to worry about falling for industry plants or otherwise hyped artists. When I heard such things said about Wet Leg, I bristled, questioning my taste. But I liked their stuff so much, I figured I should just trust my ear. I've discovered so many songs on FMU from the 70s and 80s that were likely lumped in with a sound or scene, thought of as dispensable, just chasing a trend. So thanks to the Wet Leg talk, I feel more comfortable thinking, if the music makes me feel happier than I'd be if there was no music playing, that's good enough for me.

But I liked their stuff so much, I figured I should just trust my ear. Not to mention all the independent artists who can't get their music pressed onto a vinyl record because the plants are choked with albums that no one was every asking to be re-issued.
