79 years old and full of energy. We were blown away. Great band with him. He played for 90 minutes. Opened with Midnight Hour, closed with Slow Down, Did all the hits in between

All these shortages. We've had a soft life for so long it doesn't seem possible that we can't get what we want whenever we want it. I wouldn't have fared well during the Great Depression or World War II.

Yeah they are actually much safer in the tank, mom. The Chesapeake Bay goes through a mindboggling number of bay anchovies every year. Each female anchovy can spawn about 50,000 eggs a year, resulting in 50 billion (!) juveniles every year, and nearly all wind up as food for bigger fish. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation estimates there are 100 trillion (!) eggs produced every year.

RIP Mickey Gilley. Dave the Spazz did a great tribute last night. I need to listen to it all. Caught part after Fatherflot last night. I grew up about 20 minutes from Gilley's in Seabrook. My mom went nuts when Urban Cowboy came out for it and I went with she and my dad to Gilley's. I was 12 and I got to ride the bull. Yee-haw! haha

Joe, you are gonna crack up at this one. My aunt who is only 5 years older than me (my mom's very baby sister) came to visit us once and went to Gilley's. She met Johnny Lee and he fell flat head over heels for her! Took her out on a date or two!! He was about 10 years older than her. She was like 19 or something then, 20. He was just too old. She married her high school sweetheart...
