The New And Hard Ensemble

Whose ensemble is that? I think I know.
Its owner is quite sad though.
It really is a tale of woe,
I watch her frown. I cry hello.

She gives her ensemble a shake,
And sobs until the tears make.
The only other sound's the break,
Of distant waves and birds awake.

You seem excited StringOFperils

StringOFperils:

Yeah...had to track down an electrical fire in the house that turned out to be a switch panel in the dishwasher; and then a bit later we heard a woman outside, screaming for help, so I ran for two and a half blocks to where a hooker was beating down someone's front door, trying to escape from a john who'd held her captive in a car for over two hours, attempting to rob her, and probably worse. She was terrified. Handed her off to the police. So, yeah, maybe I seem a little excited. And then of course, there IS your invigorating presence Owl Sun.

The dude got away, btw. I was really booking it on foot, so I guess he got scared.

**someday, someone will read this in the archive, and they'll think I made it up. But I didn't. I'm kind of elated to have discovered that I can still sprint like I did @ 25, 40 years later. Haven't wound it out like that for a while.

Now if that burning circuit-board smell would just go away.

That's not you is it, Owl? A little smoking wiring under your pin feathers?
