In a cycle-of-life moment, I met old friends (like elementary school friends) a few years ago and they suggested we go to a DM show. I blanched at the price, and as if on cue, a punkish couple (complete with dog, tattoos and piercings) came over to greet me, we chatted about coming shows as my friends recoiled in fear/horror. I never heard from these old friends again. Time to move on, we were no longer on the same track
