Trying to understand, are we hostile in our approach or is it a hostile planet that are approaching?
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 12:12pm
Jan Turkenburg:

Hi WR, I'm clueless too.
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 12:12pm
WR:

Perhaps it was music for all occasions.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:23pm

This reminds of the music in this one video game I was playing called Golden Light

There's a bit a variety in in but the Christmas song is one with identifiable lyrics.

Hi Jan, and fellow duckies! This bit is quite funny, even as it messes with my head.

LOL!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:05pm
Paper Kosmonaut:

coffee creamer on steroids?!
Avatar 1:09pm
Mr Fab:

that was from the Esquivel soundtrack to "Burbujas"! Which may have inspired a certain Sheena's show...
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 1:09pm
Jan Turkenburg:

Indeed!
Avatar 1:12pm
Mr Fab:

save this one for Halloween...
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 1:12pm

:-)
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 1:13pm
Jan Turkenburg:

It can be Halloween each day here ;-)
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 1:14pm
Jan Turkenburg:

I guess it was when I made this mix a few weeks ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:17pm
Paper Kosmonaut:

Moeilijke geluiden. Mooh-Like gah-Gah-Louder!
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 1:18pm
Jan Turkenburg:

One mustn't make it too easy for the audience. Otherwise they become right winged
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:19pm
Paper Kosmonaut:

you have a point there.
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 1:19pm
Jan Turkenburg:

actually it was Freek de Jonge who said that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:21pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:25pm
MHLee:

There was another band that did something similar
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:25pm
Paper Kosmonaut:

@ MHLee: Blaas of Glory.
Avatar 1:25pm
Mr Fab:

ha, this is great! So alas, we don't know the name of the band?
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 1:26pm
Jan Turkenburg:

No, it wasn't mentioned in the post...
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 1:26pm
WR:

Jan, was that your remix of Tomita?
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 1:26pm
Jan Turkenburg:

Yes, Blaas of Glory from Zwolle did/does something similar.
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 1:27pm
Jan Turkenburg:

WR, no but I can understand the question. The same arp as I used in In My Spaceship was used.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:30pm
MHLee:

staryolsa.bandcamp.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31pm
MHLee:

These guys did as well. I used to use Ai Vis Lo Lop / Smells Like Teen Spirit as bed music.
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 1:32pm
Jan Turkenburg:

The members of De Fabriek deliver the pieces and then Richard does his magic in the studio and credits all people that contributed to the whole CD, not by piece.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:33pm
Paper Kosmonaut:

I have always thought that the Arp synth was named after Arp Schnittger, the famous organ builder. But it were the intitals of the inventor of the synth, Alan Robert Pearlman. Ha!
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 1:33pm
Jan Turkenburg:

ow, with Arp I meant arpeggio, not the ARP synth, sorry for the mix up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:35pm
Paper Kosmonaut:

That also would have been an option for the origins of the Arp name.
Avatar 1:48pm
Mr Fab:

thanks for the link to Stary Olsa, MHLee. That looks quite agreeably ridiculous.

fascinating show today, Jan - much thanks!
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 1:58pm
Jan Turkenburg:

There was no drop in connection overhere... so I don't know either
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:59pm
Paper Kosmonaut:

must be something here. I reconnected and now it works again. No worries.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:00pm
