I was really awestruck the first time I saw them in 2019. Here's a group of musicians who listened to Little Richard and Chuck Berry on the radio as kids, X is pure rock'n'roll.

	12:44pm egould: A few years ago, when I lived in Long Beach, CA I walked into my local bar and John Doe and Dave Alvin were there drinking a beer with the owner. I joined them for a drink. I was in awe, so I barely said anything. They were talking music and commenting on tunes on the jukebox. It was a good Saturday morning.

	♥ 12:48pm Sweet Corn Lizzie: Suzy Hotrod talked about that exhibit too, and how weird it must have been for Laurie Anderson to have to deal with all of Lou's receipts and letters and ephemera. I saw X in 1981 on an early date with someone who ended up being a serious relationship. They were fantastic and I'm so glad they're still rocking.
