	♥ 4:42pm van chinski: First two/three seasons of TZ are generally solid, even the dated eps still can be effective. "Walking Distance" is my favorite even though it's a 'quiet" one, it's just really well done. Enjoy those shows, @audiocarp.

	♥ 4:45pm Greg from ZONE 5: There are still some classic eps in season 4/5, but by that point Buck Houghton was out and Rod was (by his own admission) running on fumes.
	♥ 4:50pm van chinski: There's good stuff throughout but there's some real goochers like "The Fear" and "Black leather Jackets" -- I'm not a fan of the Earl Hamner Jr episodes in general the homespun country stuff generally sputters badly, and none of the 'comedy" episodes have much going for them other than nostalgia/guest stars. Imho. I still have to dive into the hour-long eps, they didn't show them when i was a TV kid and I never caught up on most of them. More Klugman, more Burgess Meredith!

	♥ 4:45pm Greg from ZONE 5: There are still some classic eps in season 4/5, but by that point Buck Houghton was out and Rod was (by his own admission) running on fumes.
	♥ 4:50pm van chinski: There's good stuff throughout but there's some real goochers like "The Fear" and "Black leather Jackets" -- I'm not a fan of the Earl Hamner Jr episodes in general the homespun country stuff generally sputters badly, and none of the 'comedy" episodes have much going for them other than nostalgia/guest stars. Imho. I still have to dive into the hour-long eps, they didn't show them when i was a TV kid and I never caught up on most of them. More Klugman, more Burgess Meredith!
