Just yesterday a good friend of ours - right before we’re scheduled to take a small lake cabin together this weekend - called to say he’d just gotten it! This after my parents in FLA just getting it also, which made them miss their daughter’s PreK “graduation.” And just last week we had to make the decision not to have a good friend of ours take the couch for a night stay while on a teaching job, because he also just had Covid the week before. We’ve been really pretty diligent about the protocols. The kids are totally adapted to masking up the entire time they’re indoors, anywhere. Somehow none of us here have ever tested positive. Knock on Woody. Hope K8 heals up fast and you manage to escape it. It’s weird how many times I’ve heard of family members getting it but not others. Who the F knows…

Due to algorithms in music systems like Spotify, all sorts of bands are seeing resurgence in sales. One example of this is the release of "official" videos for songs that charted decades ago. My friends the Bush Tetras have released a number of videos recently, of their classic tracks. I also heard some similar stories on these very airwaves. Tectonic was one show that addressed this phenomena.

Two talking drums, the King and two others on guitar, a pedal steel guitar, bass, drum kit, two others on assorted hand percussion, and four backup singers. It was mind bending. The dance floor was empty for the first half of the first song. After that, everyone dancing non-stop. They played for hours. I also own and sometimes play the talking drum.

Just yesterday a good friend of ours - right before we’re scheduled to take a small lake cabin together this weekend - called to say he’d just gotten it! This after my parents in FLA just getting it also, which made them miss their daughter’s PreK “graduation.” And just last week we had to make the decision not to have a good friend of ours take the couch for a night stay while on a teaching job, because he also just had Covid the week before. We’ve been really pretty diligent about the protocols. The kids are totally adapted to masking up the entire time they’re indoors, anywhere. Somehow none of us here have ever tested positive. Knock on Woody. Hope K8 heals up fast and you manage to escape it. It’s weird how many times I’ve heard of family members getting it but not others. Who the F knows…

Due to algorithms in music systems like Spotify, all sorts of bands are seeing resurgence in sales. One example of this is the release of "official" videos for songs that charted decades ago. My friends the Bush Tetras have released a number of videos recently, of their classic tracks. I also heard some similar stories on these very airwaves. Tectonic was one show that addressed this phenomena.

Two talking drums, the King and two others on guitar, a pedal steel guitar, bass, drum kit, two others on assorted hand percussion, and four backup singers. It was mind bending. The dance floor was empty for the first half of the first song. After that, everyone dancing non-stop. They played for hours. I also own and sometimes play the talking drum.
