When a performer was about to do a number with the band and made a remark I don't recall about me there at my leisure, I said "The music is my hammock." This was very well received and prompted the musicians to carry on happily. Glad to be here for the Friday swing of the hammock. And here's hoping the Maine holiday gives the drummer some hammock-mesh impressions on his backside.

I was standing on the side of the road positioning myself to take a picture of one carefully crossing the street when a big truck came barreling down out of nowhere and ran the tarantula over making it fly up in the air and do a double flip before landing - flat as a pancake.

	♥ 10:21am Franco Twinkie: This too: My girlfriends parents lived in Ojai, high up in the hills. One night when her folks were elsewhere, we were making dinner, a tarantula fell out of the ceiling. It made a hollow pop - kind of like a ping-pong ball when it hit the tile floor, and flew to pieces.

I was young and impressionable when I bought it new. But even then, I could tell that it was thoughtful and well done. You will dig the Wilmer book. She gained unusually intimate access to so many essential musicians of that era. She's a hero of mine.

When a performer was about to do a number with the band and made a remark I don't recall about me there at my leisure, I said "The music is my hammock." This was very well received and prompted the musicians to carry on happily. Glad to be here for the Friday swing of the hammock. And here's hoping the Maine holiday gives the drummer some hammock-mesh impressions on his backside.

	♥ 10:21am Franco Twinkie: This too: My girlfriends parents lived in Ojai, high up in the hills. One night when her folks were elsewhere, we were making dinner, a tarantula fell out of the ceiling. It made a hollow pop - kind of like a ping-pong ball when it hit the tile floor, and flew to pieces.
