My family and I are moving back to Illinois after being in the PNW for 4 years. My partner got a pretty big promotion at her job there. We're reverse Lewis and Clarking it next week and it will be a few weeks before we get settled in. I'll be Mr Mom for a while until school starts for the kids which I'm looking forward to. I'll miss interacting with youse guys and yukking it up. Looks like I'll be hanging with Handy and K8 in Michigan in a few weeks so I'm stoked for that.

	4:34pm HyperDose: @Rev Assuming you're referring to the Bose QC35 headphones. I have the same pair. They're nice, but the way the drivers are positioned make audio sound like it's a little far away. I prefer the JBL Live 660NC. The sound is a bit more present.

	4:37pm HyperDose: @Rev If they're wireless, then yes. Go to the Google Play store and download the "Bose Connect" app. Pair the headphones and it will tell you if there are any firmware updates available. Updates can help improve things like BT connectivity and sound quality.

	4:43pm HyperDose: As a walker I highly implore wireless enthusiasts to purchase noise cancelling headphones that come with an ambient aware feature. Noise cancelling uses little mics to take in outside audio and flip the phase in circuit, thus cancelling it out (think protons and electrons) so you don't hear any noise. Your mobile phone does this too. Ambient aware keeps a bit of that signal in so you are more aware of your surroundings.

Good headphones actually mean that I don't always have to listen to things that Loud anyhow ! ...Unless I'm really caffeinated & I need that PowerPop Chord. You know what I mean... I'm also not in an Urban area where situational traffic awareness is so urgent...

Well, actually, we recently got K8's knock-off Discman back! But still, can't do it. I do manage to read and walk on part of my commute, though.

	4:54pm HyperDose: Hey Jason! I'd guesstimate something with the air pressure on the opposing side of your eardrum from the headphones competing with the fluid regulation of the inner ear tubes. Noise cancelling can negatively affect people with more sensitive vestibular systems. @Handy I always walk against traffic. Would rather see the danger coming.

My family and I are moving back to Illinois after being in the PNW for 4 years. My partner got a pretty big promotion at her job there. We're reverse Lewis and Clarking it next week and it will be a few weeks before we get settled in. I'll be Mr Mom for a while until school starts for the kids which I'm looking forward to. I'll miss interacting with youse guys and yukking it up. Looks like I'll be hanging with Handy and K8 in Michigan in a few weeks so I'm stoked for that.

	4:43pm HyperDose: As a walker I highly implore wireless enthusiasts to purchase noise cancelling headphones that come with an ambient aware feature. Noise cancelling uses little mics to take in outside audio and flip the phase in circuit, thus cancelling it out (think protons and electrons) so you don't hear any noise. Your mobile phone does this too. Ambient aware keeps a bit of that signal in so you are more aware of your surroundings.

I'm also not in an Urban area where situational traffic awareness is so urgent...

Noise cancelling can negatively affect people with more sensitive vestibular systems. @Handy I always walk against traffic. Would rather see the danger coming.
