Saw "Performance" years ago, maybe at a rep theater here in NY (or the famous Mini on L.I.) & thought it was kinda dull & one of those weird/psychedelic movies from the '60s that probably seemed better back then. The soundtrack is varied & pretty good though: features a great Randy Newman song (well, a performance---he didn't write it) & Newman, Ry Cooder & others backing up Jagger on "Memo from Turner" (which is better known than the film---there's also an alternate version on that Stones collection "Metamorphosis" which may have some Stones playing on it). And yes, TCM showed it late at night this week, they're doing various rock-related movies every Monday, including (also late) "Absolute Beginners" which was weird but worth seeing, for Bowie, Ray Davies & others.

Pax: N.O. is flood-prone, but in recent years the drainage system, which is supposedly one of the greatest, has been failing, not in huge storms, but regular thunderstorms.

Good morning everyone! Long, long time listener.... can anyone identify the song that is played at the end of Double Dip Recess? I hear it every week right before Michael Shelley, and it's driving me nuts. I thought it was a closing theme to Sesame Street but my wife thinks it's from the Price is Right. Can anyone name it? Thanks!

@DJ Sloofus - I asked Amanda about that back when and she answered. Let me see if I can find the archive.
