	👻 1:30pm DjLorraine: I worked for AA for 5 weeks and then they had a downsizing event. So workers with seniority transfered to Miami. They weren't used to lifting 50 lb bags in the heat. At 6 weeks i would've received a free flight. They wanted me to wait in American Eagle until they could put me on the AA payroll. So...same work but half the pay.

	2:03pm Handy Haversack: My dad's Maxwell Bodenheim story was from his days in the Bohemian Village as a waiter and scenester. Bodenheim would go around trying to trade poems for drinks, on the bum, wearing a ratty overcoat all through the winter. My dad was drinking in I think the White Horse but it might have been Kettle, and Dylan Thomas was there, and Bodenheim comes in from the sleet and tries to sell a poem for a drink to Thomas, who doesn't say a word but reaches into a pocket, takes out his handkerchief, and reaches out to wipe Bodenheim's nose. That's the story.
