In the 1960's they had prizes in the family pack: Plastic dinosaurs and later folded up posters. One of the last movies I saw in a theater was Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. In one scene there is an enlargement of one of said posters on the side of a sound stage. I existed on Fritos and orange juice when I worked on a street with a lunch wagon.

It was always a comfort to pass by 53rd & Sixth Avenue to see Moondog's imposing physical presence standing like a sentinel in front of Black Rock which was the CBS/Columbia Records building all those years ago, when so much appeared to be 'all good', an example being NYC's large community of artists, musicians, poets, and social deviants. I don't think Moondog was necessarily a bad person N. An otherworldly looking eccentric, composer of music, songs and player of instruments who certainly had his fears, demons, and prejudices, which I'm not condoning. I always thought of him as a resident of NYC's community of eccentric artists, which brought the relative comfort of safety in numbers.. Hey there WR!, Hey there desert fox! Cool and wet in Marfa.. In the 1960's they had prizes in the family pack: Plastic dinosaurs and later folded up posters. One of the last movies I saw in a theater was Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. In one scene there is an enlargement of one of said posters on the side of a sound stage. I existed on Fritos and orange juice when I worked on a street with a lunch wagon.

It was always a comfort to pass by 53rd & Sixth Avenue to see Moondog's imposing physical presence standing like a sentinel in front of Black Rock which was the CBS/Columbia Records building all those years ago, when so much appeared to be 'all good', an example being NYC's large community of artists, musicians, poets, and social deviants. I don't think Moondog was necessarily a bad person N. An otherworldly looking eccentric, composer of music, songs and player of instruments who certainly had his fears, demons, and prejudices, which I'm not condoning.
