The cousin thing is overrated. I’m cousins with the keyboard player in Bon Jovi - David Bryan. I don’t think I ever met him and am not a fan of his band’s music. My cousin Larry, on the other hand, has engineered/produced records for the likes of Tim Buckley, Peter Case, Elvis Costello, John Hiatt, Los Lobos, Ry Cooder, Marshall Crenshaw and many more. He’s the cousin I brag about, and I actually know him 😉

My first girlfriend claimed to be a cousin of Laura Nyro. She knew that Laura Nyro was the only woman I might have loved more than her, so I thought she was putting me on. Then Al Gore invented the Internet, and Jimmy Wales invented Wikipedia. If Wikipedia is to be trusted, Laura’s mother’s so-called maiden name is my ex-girlfriend’s last name. Hmm....

StringOFperils:

On one play, Grange debuted the flea flicker, a trick play designed by Zuppke in which fullback Earl Britton received the snap from a fake field goal formation, which he threw to right end Chuck Kassel, who lateraled back to Grange and ran for the score.[21] As Illinois won 24–2, Laurence Stallings, a famed war correspondent for the New York World, said, "This story's too big for me. I can't write it.__WIKI

Minor (or major correction depending on your point of view), "Is it Too Late" by the Fideltones is supposed to be by the "Fidelitones" as in "fidelity tones." Just fyi.
