	📖 5:14pm WR: Fond memory of day when let out of High School class early, going to diner we heard was The Spot for rival high school and filling the juke box to play 96 Tears a dozen times in a row.

	5:16pm spacebrother: @ WR - This is something that was needed very badly and only you knew it. We used to do that with "Macho Man." Really bothered people for some reason.
	5:16pm Austin Rich: Ha! We used to do that a lot, when I lived in PDX. We would DOMINATE the jukebox, and when they introduced those boxes where you could pay extra to skip a song, we took advantage of it, for sure. While I do feel guilty now, usually the drek those boxes play on a given night is almost unforgivable, so I don't feel TOO band. Usually our picks had a good sense of humor to them.

	📖 5:30pm WR: Not that I "know" or have already heard every tune on WFMU, but when there is an artist I like with major number of releases, like P-Model, it is a good surprise worth noting when hearing for the first time.

	5:32pm Austin Rich: I'm with you, WR: I recognize a FRACTION of the stuff my fellow DJs play, and I used to think I was well-read, musically. But I have a niche as much as anyone else. I do get excited when I find new stuff, too. Guess I haven't gotten too cynical as I approach 50.
