Oh crap. Hope all is well.

Don-O just found out that he and his family can move into their new house, and that's what they're doing now. So actually things are looking up in Crap-land.

Hi Fab!
Hi WR!
You guys are the show..
GO!

Mr Fab:

Hey Rich, thanks to you for discovering this:
onlineradiobox.com...
now everyone knows what the stream is playing.

Krys O:

Cool! Thanks, Rich.

Looks like if you don't stay on the page, you have to refresh when you return.

Tommy Cash was John R.’s brother.

I think I have that stupid Tommy Cash record where it's an homage to all kinds of jobs/roles. I should look for it.

The yutes outta hear that song more often

They're sick of freedom. They just wanna smoke their draft cards
Avatar 6:32pm
Mr Fab:

You can "thank" Ma 'n' Pa Fab for the Tommy Cash record. I took it when I moved out, and no one missed it.

Krys O:

Excellent, Mr. Fab an à propos.

Any requests? (Assuming it's in Sheena's library)

Rich in Washington:

I had the weird experience of visiting my hometown to find my parent's record collection in the local Goodwill. My mom had apparently dumped them without telling my dad (who would probably have NEVER gotten around to even looking at them at that point).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:37pm
Rich in Washington:

I wanna hear Caravan with a drum solo.
Avatar 6:38pm
Mr Fab:

That's so sad, Rich! Did you rescue anything?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:39pm
Rich in Washington:

I did buy a few records which I knew my dad was fond of and ripped them and burnt to CD for him but didn't tell him where I got them.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:40pm
Rich in Washington:

but yeah, they haven't had a turntable for something like 30 years, so...
  6:41pm
Krys O:

Any Renegades?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:42pm
Rich in Washington:

sad to say, my parents had the most boring record collection imaginable. A few cool old Folk records but loads of stuff like New Christy Minstrels and the like.
Avatar 6:43pm
Mr Fab:

Ah, you're a good kid.

Got long distance dedication to Rich in WA, whether you have kids or pets or both - "Caravan" .
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:44pm
Rich in Washington:

Oh nice!
Thanks, Fab!
Avatar 6:44pm
Mr Fab:

got a few tracks by The Renegades. Don't know if they're all by the same group as that's a kind of generic name, but they're all pretty durn cool.

Rich in Washington:

I kick myself for not buying this dumb xtian christmas 'rock' opera thing by Anita Kerr. I think some fundy relatives gifted it to us and they didn't have the heart to get rid of it. It's really dumb. I've always told myself if I do another christmas show I'd play some of it.
Avatar 6:45pm
Mr Fab:

don't know if there's a drum solo here, but they are billed as a percussion group.

Rich in Washington:

a hippie goes to heaven (by mistake, natch) and it causes an uproar among the angels, who don't want him. It's really terrible with hokey narration.
Avatar 6:47pm
Mr Fab:

That's sounds hilarious, and oh so sample-able.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:47pm
Aitch:

So some Fab tunes before Rich then
Avatar 6:48pm
Mr Fab:

Yea, pretty sure these are two different Renegades
Avatar 6:49pm
Mr Fab:

Hey Aitch, yup Don-O was just handed the keys to his new pad, so had to move.

i could start early with a bit o' pre-show if that's cool with you, Fab! Or are you diggin' DJing?
Avatar 7:07pm
Mr Fab:

no, go for it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:08pm
Rich in Washington:

How about I start rolling at :30 minutes?
Avatar 7:10pm
Mr Fab:

Sure, whenever is good for you.
Avatar 7:11pm
Mr Fab:

Daryl was just playing this guy on World's Worst Records. Harvey's astrology songs are bad enough, but ho boy! The public-access tv show that goes with it is a true eye-melter.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:14pm
Aitch:

I'll switch over to Rich's page in anticipation.

I'll make the playlist live at bottom of the hour. I've never manually activated one before its time so who knows what'll happen?
