THIS IS YOUR BRAIN ON RAVIOLI (sans serif) Ravioli: Filling contained in virtually identical pockets with scalloped edges. Olivia has us question ourselves; the framework of the human being. How familiar we are from a distance, yes - but do we know what we contain? Or is it our collective experience that is an inhibited chaos within a predictable wrapping of "the routine". The unknown lurking outside. Olivia wants us to ponder this. We are all raviolis. Raviolis are made again and again, indifferently. Inside, nothing is the same. Again and again. Fleeting, temporary, eternal, delicious. This is who we are. And no, never tortellinis, that's ridiculous.
