	♥ 12:20pm Hughie Considine: I concur, @Dano. I also liked Warehouse: Songs and Stories, which got a similar reaction from hardcore fans of Husker Du. Despite the overly clean production, both bands were writing some of their very best songs once they finally had been at it for awhile and signed toi major labels.

And Tenafly is a stone's throw from the Van Gelder Studio and Sugar Hill Records in Englewood. So much musical history on that side of the Hudson.
	12:38pm Meesalikeu: @woodsyes i worry about bruce’s hearing, mental health and maybe alzheimers too. but western stars is the best record in years and has the best sound of any of his records, except for seeger sessions and the ties that bind (proto river single album). those three are his only great studio records in term of sound (although seeger was recorded live).

According to the Sun, "Police said that they were unable to positively identify the body due to the level of decomposition." That would suggest he was likely killed sometime the week before.

My wife would like to move back to New Orleans, but I feel like it's not a place with a future.

UV-TV formed in Gainesville, Florida, in the mid-2010s, but by the turn of the decade they’d relocated to New York City. Their first release after moving to NYC, 2021’s Always Something, was one of EFD’s favorites of that year; they’ll play some songs from that album as well as some new songs from an upcoming release. Tune in for some post-punk jangle-drone!
Wed. May 22nd, Noon - 3pm: The Prof. Fuzz 63 (More info...)
The Prof. Fuzz 63 are a three-piece family band from just north of Dallas. They’re also literally a garage band. Their garage/practice space is adorned with photos of The Cramps, among others, and singer uses an old telephone handset for a mic. What else do you need to know? OK, they’re also playing May 22 at Berlin in NYC and May 23 at Finnegan’s in Hoboken.

Despite the overly clean production, both bands were writing some of their very best songs once they finally had been at it for awhile and signed toi major labels.
