It is produced by David Weinstein and Outpost Artists Resources operating out of the Ridgewood section of Queens, NY, where you'll find more yellow bricks than on the road to Oz and the cemetery of your choice is never more than a few blocks from home.

there's a road up a mountain in the Altai range in Xinjiang that has 31 switchbacks, but it's beyond the treeline, and each switchback is identical, so, it doesn't have the same gravitas as other "winding" roads (I believe it was built w/in the last 15 years.

Yay Gnawa!! This drumming track is labelled "Tramin" on the album. I don't know of any Arabic or Gnawa-specific word that sound like that. So my guess is it's just a transcription of someone saying Drummin'
