SHEILA your show saved my phone! Just this second as I was about to drive away from the cafe, I thought “oh Shelia B is on now!” so I went to grab my phone… but I couldn’t find it. Panicked, I got out of the car and looked around… and there it was, on the roof of my car! I would’ve driven off and probably broken or even lost the phone if it weren’t for your excellent show. One more reason to love you ❤️ THANKS for everything 🕺🏽

Girl pop is one of my least favorite genres of music. I started listening to your show almost by accident - because you immediately followed Bryce's show which featured electronic and Indian music (much more my kind of style). Nonetheless your show caught my attention. I was captivated more by your bubbly personality than by the music. Thanks to you, Shelia, I'm more of a man now that I can appreciate girl pop. And I forgive your Prog Rock proclivities. Good luck with all your future projects and come back to WFMU often.

You certainly deserve it after so many years. Yes, we'll be sad, but we have hours and hours of archived shows to enjoy. Also, you've probably been told before, but if not, there's a super Phil Collins song, Sun in the Night, where he sings in Sanskrit on the Brand X 1977 album Moroccan Roll. Also, as you expand your progressive music exploration, see the meeting of female singers with progressive music (and Symphonic Rock) in the bands Clearlight Symphony, and Curved Air, and Renaissance.
