Done with the masks?!? Hell no, you may be done with COVID but COVID is not done with us. I always wear my mask on the subway or anywhere indoors outside of my apt. To do otherwise is to invite disaster. Long COVID sounds like a fucking nightmare. I want to throttle every fucking dipshit I see on the subway not wearing their fucking mask. Fucking morons. Y'all catch it, you spread it to 10 other people, they spread it to 100 other people, then 1000, then I get it and get long COVID. No. Fuck that.
  12:33am
Marc15:

@Ike: I agree with you

...whether 200 tests makes sense is another matter I can't speak to per se...
Avatar 12:36am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...they'd probably have been happy to keep us without vaccines & dying if it didn't threaten the perpetual running of the Machine, in fact...
Avatar 🎙 Swag For Life Member 12:37am
Ike:

OK, if you'll wear a mask on the train then I'm happy. @greatbarr., OK, fair enough with the testing, IDK much about that. In TV work, they have whole entire COVID protocol departments now and it might be overkill (?).
Avatar 12:37am
spodiodi:

yeah. i hate masks, but more times than not lately. i've been the odd person out (wearing one.) always a drag, but totally worth it. indeed to fuck long covid.
  12:37am
bore:

Until about a month ago I wore masks everywhere, but despite that I’ve had it 3 times. I’ll get vaccinated as many times as they’ll let me but otherwise, yeah I agree, I’m done with it.
  12:37am
Marc15:

Vaccinated people can still get Covid. I know three vaccinated people who did
Avatar 12:38am
spodiodi:

same here, Marc15
Avatar 12:39am

mask chat bore: masks are to stop you from spreading, not so much catching.
vaccination: it is meant to aleviate the symptoms and consequences, it's not a magic shield
Avatar 12:40am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...Polio cause of AntiVaxers - Monkeypox cause not enuff vaccine...
Here in NewHampshire - I am the *only one* still masking on the bus or in the supermarket. Almost in the market maybe. Maybe that makes more sense in the region. But maybe not. Eff 'em all I say.

I have to do it for 12 hours at a time at work , with people I know are all triple vaxed . Wear an n95 mask for 12 hours it’s hell .
Avatar 12:45am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

That is different, truth.
  12:46am
bore:

Tak, please don’t be condescending. Masks are equally effective for catching and spreading, they are not directional. And of course when I’ve had it I’ve quarantined.
Avatar 12:46am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...keep people working - that's what matters no matter what...
  12:48am
Marc15:

You are correct, Jonathan, I am a healthcare worker and I have worn a N95 mask for 12 hours. It is hell
