In some maybe I see where the DJ was coming from even if I don't agree - or it was just the circumstances & not anybody's fault. Like the bartender throwing out everybody makes a ruckus regardless of their positions... I was calling BS on an antivaxxer, specifically. Wrong call by the DJ - but I get it I suppose... In another case - I think it's just that DJ's schtick to kind of bait people & be the RushLimbaigh of FMU as it were. & people absolutely love her. What can you say - it's a glorious bouquet.

Some of these bans were in solidarity, from shows I don't listen to because of time zones. I do keep count of when WFMU DJs tell me I suck so much they don't want me listening to their show

The board gave up the ghost because of that. In my own opinion, trolls should be excised like ticks. Ignoring them and leaving their posts are like allowing a serial farter in an elevator for days on end. It stinks and they want to piss you off. I'd just push 'em out at the ground floor. That's me.

The worst offender I ever saw on a comments board (bullying other listeners and calling them names; almost reaching a level of making threats) never got banned I don't think. It made it seem to me that it was near impossible to get banned unless you were an anonymous listener heckling the DJ, which I have seen a few times haha

Every few years brought a new set of in-jokes (cheri pi: "where the hell is pierre?" .. first message on every show was sean daily (if memory serves) saying First! WooHoo!) .. why i remember these things is another mystery.

	♥ 3:39pm Carmichael: A popular DJ once made a snarky reply to an innocent post I made about an enjoyable song, inferring that I wasn't so bright. I just turned off the music and changed to another show. I will never listen to that person again.

	♥ 3:40pm HyperDose: I can see how FMU can be a bit tricky considering all the DJs are vastly different, each having their own virtues they want to signal since their show is their space. Easy to create a mini echo chamber. Bound to be conflict at some point.

I tend to express positives as negatives ...let's not maybe. ngh - I've seen going to SM Ken as like complaining to Mommy ...been done to me but not by me. I guess it's in his job description ...not sure it should be. Poor guy. We're all Persons. It's generally rather excellent.

In some maybe I see where the DJ was coming from even if I don't agree - or it was just the circumstances & not anybody's fault. Like the bartender throwing out everybody makes a ruckus regardless of their positions... I was calling BS on an antivaxxer, specifically. Wrong call by the DJ - but I get it I suppose... In another case - I think it's just that DJ's schtick to kind of bait people & be the RushLimbaigh of FMU as it were. & people absolutely love her. What can you say - it's a glorious bouquet.

The worst offender I ever saw on a comments board (bullying other listeners and calling them names; almost reaching a level of making threats) never got banned I don't think. It made it seem to me that it was near impossible to get banned unless you were an anonymous listener heckling the DJ, which I have seen a few times haha
