but from the standpoint of supporting the station, for me, I have found some great shows, like a new one Futura with DJ Pedro Fumero, which I found in the middle of the night from being sick, which wasn't such a pleasant way to find them, but I can listen to their new shows in archive form!

Fabio, I may not be worthy to say this, being only an occasional contributor to this chat board, but if I may say, without gushing too much, being one of the old guard here at the WoofMoo and among the first personalities I've heard on this station when I first started listening on a regular basis back at the tail end of the 80's, I'd like to express my heartfelt thanks for your contributions during your time on air. Some of the best shows I'll consider among the best were your elaborate tributes to Genesis P-Orridge and "Il Maestro" from last year, as well as the one for Alan Vega and all of Alex Hacke's guest appearances (the last of which gave me the chance to see him live @ Monty Hall, thank you very much for that). And of course, all those moments with Clay were magic! Your time off is well deserved. I hope you return to air with a renewed sense of energy and perspective of life, bleak as it may often seem.
Failure at accomplishment ≠ failure in life. It's all in how we carry ourselves through it, and how willing we are to learn from our failures, despite whatever odds we're condemned to face.

Every FMU-J is a World.
So it means a lot when they come & go.
Fabio is certainly one for which that is in a way particularly acute.
Yet some & go they do. As do Schedules.
...On the Mainstream anyway. I'm grateful the Alt Streams are immune to it...

Will look forward to Fabio's return next summer, but at least Irwin and Scott will fill the void on Weds and Thurs afternoons till then.
But here's my problem--why can't we get Bob Brainen back on the ai?. I really like both the animal program and double dip recess, but they are kinda redundant. Put Bob back on the regular radio for Christ's sake.

Otoh - I think if our Society *really* wanted to address the factual situation with Drugs - then the means is Harm Reduction - dealing with it as a Medical situation - not a Legal one. Which makes me more characteristically - reliably - & comfortably Socialist.
Of course - actually remedying the situation with Drugs has not been the motivation of those in power - @ all.
